Although legend Sir Bruce Forsyth has handed over the “Strictly”
reins to new presenting duo Claudia Winkleman & Tess Daly he is adamant
that this is not “Brucie walking into the sunset” He is reported to have said “I'm not retiring, that's the
last thing in the world I want to do” but has said that several times that he wanted
to leave "the rigours" of live TV behind.
To mark his final regular appearance he led a "flashmob" dance in the first episode of the new series. Sir Bruce however will still continue to present one-off specials, such as the Christmas and Children in Need editions.
