A new book by amateur sleuth turned author, Russell Edwards claims to have finally identified the fiend who terrorised the East end of London in the nineteenth century. The book “Naming Jack the Ripper” says that Aaron Kosminski also known as "Chapman", a Polish Jew, whose family had emigrated to London to escape pogroms, is “definitely, categorically and absolutely” the man behind the grisly series of murders in 1888 that left at
least five women dead and mutilated.
However there is nothing new or radical in the author’s claims as Kosminski has long been regarded as the “prime suspect” but if you manage to get hold of a copy it’s a ripping yarn.
